Our Core Values

In reliance upon the Holy Spirit, we desire to see the believers of ECC living the following biblical values:

  • embracing a deepening intimacy with Jesus
  • ensuring lifelong spiritual wholeness
  • enjoying spiritual community in small groups
  • experiencing Christ-like relationships
  • engaging their Spirit-giftedness
  • extending their own grace story

Our Vision

ECC is a biblical church that purposes to train and encourage all its members toward Christ-centered spiritual maturity by:

  • making prayer a priority in all that we do.
  • embracing community life by participating in small groups dedicated to growing in Christ-likeness, training in spiritual disciplines, and empowering our witness to others.
  • actively using our God given abilities in ministries to meet the physical and spiritual needs of our community and world with the love and gospel of Christ.
  • partnering with other groups of believers to see our community and world transformed through the harvesting, discipling, and assembling of new believers, thus expanding the local and world-wide church.

Our Purpose

Our purpose is to glorify God by loving, nurturing, equipping and empowering the believers of ECC for service so that:

  • every believer at ECC becomes joyfully involved in the fulfillment of the Great Commission worldwide.
  • every person in our community has the opportunity to hear and understand the gospel, and accept or reject the Lord Jesus Christ as his or her personal Savior.

Our Distinctives

  1. We rely upon the Word of God as our ultimate authority, the source of our faith, and the centerpiece of all our teaching.
  2. We are led and governed by a team of pastors and elders.
  3. We seek unity and reconciliation of the body of Christ in the local and universal church.
  4. We fellowship as Christians based on the love and grace of Jesus Christ and not on any creed, tradition, organization, or race.
